Earl Grey Forest Gin is produced by the Bond family from our award winning distillery in The Peak District National Park.

We pick ingredients from the local forest such as bilberry, wild raspberry, gorse flower, pine and moss. These are ground by hand in a pestle & mortar with traditional gin ingredients, including Organic Juniper, Organic coriander seed, liquorice and vanilla.

These freshly ground ingredients are then distilled just once in our tiny 30 litre pot still, before the addition of an incredible blend of Earl Grey Tea by Cheshire blenders Quinteassential, along with our own spring water from the ground beneath the distillery.

The resulting spirit retains all of the herbal, earthy flavours of Forest Gin, whilst the addition of the Earl Grey Tea blend adds sumptuous, delicate notes from oolong, cornflowers and Sicilian bergamot.

We suggest pouring this with your favorite tonic over ice with a slice of fresh lemon, or it is a fantastic base to add a depth of flavour to many gin cocktails.

From the Lecale Peninsula in Northern Ireland comes the country?s first premium single-estate pot still gin. Echlinville Distillery grow the barley used for the base spirit on the estate and it's malted on a farm close by. To give it a unique flavour they've chosen local botanicals, such as gorse bush petals and Strangford Lough seaweed. The result is a gin with the essence of the land and sea.

If you prefer a gin cocktail then try it with elderflower tonic, a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint, as Echlinville suggest, or just sip it neat. There?s a hint of the homegrown barley on the nose along with fresh floral and citrus notes. While in the mouth the gin has anise and lavender flavours that make way for juniper and coriander notes. Sweetness carries on throughout, with a malt character and creamy mouthfeel seldom found in modern gins.

Greenhook Ginsmiths craft their Gin on a custom-made, Copper Pot Still, designed to work in conjunction with a Vacuum, which allows them to remove air pressure from the still during distillation. This allows them to distil at low temperatures. This unique process creates a beautifully fragrant Gin with lifted Aromas and vibrant flavours.

Tasting Notes

The initial taste is a potent burst of elderflower, nicely balanced with warm earthy notes, coriander and orris root predominately, finishing with a springy, spice note of juniper.

Distilled in Nikka Whisky?s signature ?Coffey Still?, the rich and mellow spirit at the heart of this gin is characterised by a luxurious and silky texture. In addition to traditional gin botanicals, its stunning aromatic complexity relies on the refreshing burst of Japanese citrus such as Yuzu, Kabosu, Amanatsu and Shikuwasa, the delicate fruitiness of apples, and pleasantly tangy hints of Japanese Sansho pepper on the finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose; Loads of citrus fruit to start - yuzu, lemon zest and rich orange juice. Soft and buttery spice is layered underneath. Citrusy and spicy juniper sits between the two, bridging the gap.

Palate; Initially sweet but then the citrus rolls in - layers of fruit, peel and pith. There?s an exoticness to the combination, hinting at a tropical fruit salad, but it?s grounded by soft spice, earthy juniper and a touch of tongue-tingling sansho pepper.

Finish; Spice and citrus peel lead, fading to leave sweet and sour citrus zest.

Comment; Intensely citrusy, with a distinctively exotic twist on more familiar gin flavours. It lighter than its ABV may suggest and fresh tasting, but with just enough spice to pull it down to earth.

Our Award winning Forest London Gin is distilled by our family in the heart of the Macclesfield Forest. Made in batches of 85 bottles at a time each bottle containing only the finest botanicals and water from our distillery spring.

Each bottle contains these key elements:

Sourced: Organic Juniper Berries, Organic Coriander Seeds, Superior quality Vanilla pods, Liquorice root, Angelica and others.

Foraged: Wild Bilberries, Raspberries & Blackberries, Peak District Moss & Ferns, a sprinkling of wild flowers, spruce & pine.

Water: The softest Forest Spring Water from our distillery spring 1,200 ft above sea level, an ancient spring in the Peak District. Blended to 42% abv.

These ingredients are ground by hand using a pestle & mortar, before being distilled by us here in Cheshire. The alcohol vapour and the flavoursome oils from the botanicals reach our copper condenser, where they are immediately cooled. This fragrant spirit is then blended with our spring water to create unfiltered London Dry Gin of the very highest quality.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh, green, forest pines

Taste: Initial hit of juniper, with fresh ferns and sweet berries

Finish: Long, deep and earthy from the Peak District moss.
