Chorlton Whisky Campbeltown 10 Years Old Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl / 58%)

This is a blend of two single malts from Campbeltown distilleries.

The nose has a lovely freshness, with milk bottle sweets, sea air, melon, pineapple, chalk, little medicinal touches and wintergreen. The palate has an amazing texture and body: oily, fat, lemony and coastal, with toffee, rosemary, touches of peat, and a salty finish.

Wonderfully clean, super-evocative, and about as good a quality/price ratio as you can get!

This hogshead produced 323 bottles at a cask strength of 58.0%.
