Lochlea Sowing Edition (Third Crop) Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl / 46%)

Matured in 100% ex-Bourbon barrels, this release is inspired by Spring on Lochlea Farm, when we sow the seed for the year’s barley crop.

Our Third Crop of Sowing is 9-15 months older than the Second Crop, and highlights the aromatics associated with distilling in the colder months.

 

Aroma: Almonds, rose petals.

Taste: White pepper, apple blossom, crisp pear.

Finish: Freshly cut grass, warm hay.
