Miltonduff 1984 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl / 43%)

In partnership with each respective distillery, all whiskies in the Rare Vintage range are uniquely labelled. In years gone by many of these unique designs were used officially to bottle the whisky under licence from the distillery. Today these trusted relationships with distillers enables Gordon & MacPhail to bottle exclusive vintages of single malt at various strengths all with their unique distillery label.

Tasting Notes

Aroma without water; Hints of beeswax polish with lemon zest and vanilla initially. Complimented by aniseed and eucalyptus aromas.

Taste without water; Cracked black pepper with grapefruit, lime and raspberry. These combine with dark chocolate and liquorice flavours.

Aroma with water; Orange peel, vanilla and honey aromas. Hints of milk chocolate and toasted malt develop with a lingering floral edge.

Taste with water; White pepper with citrus notes, lemon and grapefruit. Ripe banana and peach flavours develop.
