Lochlea Ploughing Edition Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl / 46%)

This is the 4th and final release in our first crop of seasonal limited editions, and is the first smoky whisky that our Production Director John Campbell has created outside of Laphroaig!

We’re pretty excited for this one, it’s been matured in ex-Islay casks (a combination of barrels and quarters) so it has a wee bit of peat influence. The barley itself is still unpeated, so it’s just coming from the influence of the cask. The juicy fruit and cereal notes are still there, but there is a lovely peat smoke up front that lasts right through to the finish.
