Benromach Peat Smoke Single Malt Speyside Scotch Whisky (70cl / 46%)

Small batch made with heavily peated barley. Benromach PEAT SMOKE is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. It offers fragrant vanilla notes, which lead to lemon sherbet and apricot, finishing with smoky bonfire embers.

 

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Very rich smoke with fragrant vanilla and light citrus zest. Hints of apples develop accompanied by white chocolate.

Taste: Smooth with toasted oak, honey and sweet ripe fruit. Butterscotch and marshmallow flavours lead to a lemon sherbet all alongside sweet smoke.

Finish: Mouth-coating sweetness and bonfire embers.
